I thought you didn't mean to do that but I wasn't sure and I didn't want to hurt your feelings by assuming that was the case.

Obligation chocolate isn't so bad. I get those every year.

Isn't that kind of a mean thing to say to somebody, though? Like..."Hey, I don't actually like you or anything, I'm just giving you chocolate because I'm obligated to."

That seems like it'd just make people feel bad, not good.

I don't really think of it that way. You can still like the person you're giving giri choco to, it's just that you don't have any romantic feelings towards them.

I don't think so. Not in this world, anyway, since I doubt she has the authority to do that.

I guess because normal kids are supposed to do normal kid stuff. Not like...police stuff.

We're students from Hope's Peak, though. The only ordinary person is me and the others really excel at what they do. In Kirigiri-san's case, it's being a detective. She's a great detective and I don't really see why she isn't supposed to do police stuff.
